In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced fraud detection and prevention solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build software solutions that analyze fraud data, model risk factors, and help protect our customers and our business from fraudulent activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fraud detection systems using advanced algorithms and technologies.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand fraud trends and create predictive models for fraud risk.
- Build RESTful services to enable communication between systems and ensure efficient data processing.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Java/Spring/Spring Boot, Python, JavaScript/HTML, and other relevant technologies.
- Create and manage job scheduling workflows, using tools like Automic UC4, to ensure timely processing of fraud detection operations.
- Utilize SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to support fraud analysis and reporting.
- Work with XML/JSON formats for data interchange across various systems.
- Implement shell scripting solutions for automation and efficiency in fraud detection processes.
- Collaborate with other engineering and product teams to integrate fraud solutions seamlessly into our broader system.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in software engineering, specifically in fraud prevention or risk modeling, preferred.
- Proficiency in the following technologies:
- Shell scripting for automation.
- JSON/XML for data format handling.
- SQL for database querying and ETL processes.
- Java/Spring/Spring Boot for backend development.
- JavaScript/HTML for front-end integration.
- RESTful services for system communication.
