Our client is now looking for a senior consultant to join our functional team. Here you will have the opportunity to work with both maintenance (50%) and new development (50%) of products, with a focus on Linux User Space in C/C++. If you like challenges, troubleshooting and working in an agile team, you will fit in well here. You will be on site in Lund 4 days/week.
Duties:
- Development and improvement of the userspace that controls hardware components.
- Maintenance and improvement of existing systems and troubleshooting of critical bugs.
- New developments in C++.
- Work closely with the team to spread knowledge and ensure high quality of deliverables.
- Testing in Python and debugging in GDP Script.
Requirements:
- At least 5+ years of C/C++ development experience in Linux User Space environment.
- Experience in troubleshooting and working close to hardware.
- Unprestigious and collaborative approach, with experience in agile working methods.
Meritorious:
- Experience with Python for testing and debugging.
- Knowledge of OpenEmbedded and Yocto.
- Experience with Git and Gerrit.
Desirable characteristics:
- Good at debugging and solving critical bugs.
- Curiosity and willingness to share knowledge with others in the team.
- Ability to adapt to both maintenance and new development.
