About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Release Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and reliability of our IT services. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire release management process, from planning and testing to deployment and post-release activities. You will work closely with development teams, operations teams, and other stakeholders to coordinate and execute successful releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Release Planning: Develop comprehensive release plans, defining timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
- Deployment Coordination: Oversee and coordinate deployment activities, ensuring smooth transitions to production.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with releases.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including technical and non-technical teams, to keep them informed and engaged.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during releases.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize release processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Compliance: Adhere to ITIL best practices and other relevant standards.
