The Proxy Product Owner is a pivotal role that bridges the gap between product vision and practical execution in the realm of data-driven solutions. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking and project management skills to deliver innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategy, manage backlogs, and prioritize tasks aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Ownership: Serve as a Proxy Product Owner, making critical decisions on analytical solutions and priorities in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Backlog Management: Manage the product backlog, establish sprint goals, and ensure a feasible delivery plan.
- Agile Methodology: Work closely with the Scrum team to align solution development with the product roadmap and Agile/Scrum principles.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with diverse teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality product features.
- Project Management: Define, communicate, and oversee project goals, scope, and timelines.
- Data-Driven Projects: Lead data-driven projects, focusing on timely and quality delivery within project phases.
- Resource Allocation: Collaborate with the Program Manager for effective resource planning and project milestone tracking.
- Stakeholder Management: Provide regular project updates and transparently manage issues and risks.
Required Skills and Experience
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product management, particularly in data and analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and product features.
- Proven track record of leading complex projects from inception to completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to interact with senior management.
- Knowledge of modern data and analytics technologies, including cloud platforms.
- Basic understanding of relevant data tools and technologies.
- Proficiency in relevant languages.
