About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Architect to play a crucial role in the design and migration phase of a major WAN redesign and upgrade project. Working in close collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute your expertise in network technology, focusing on network optimization and security to establish a scalable and reliable infrastructure. This technically challenging and secure environment requires a candidate willing to undergo a security verification (minimum national/EU confidential level).
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and support during the design and migration of a large-scale WAN.
- Lead the migration of an IP/MPLS network to segment routing and EVPN, leveraging specific network equipment.
- Optimize network performance for diverse applications and user needs through extensive knowledge of Quality of Service (QoS).
- Ensure all deliverables meet high quality standards through meticulous and detail-oriented work.
- Effectively communicate complex network concepts to a variety of stakeholders and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Adapt to evolving technical requirements and environments, demonstrating a willingness to learn and implement new tools and technologies.
- Contribute to network security best practices and ensure the infrastructure adheres to security protocols.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven expertise in migrating an IP/MPLS network to segment routing and EVPN.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Quality of Service (QoS).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at least at national/EU confidential level.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge and experience with Cisco SD Access.
- Knowledge and experience with Aruba SD Branch.
