About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to play a pivotal role in the redesign and upgrade of our extensive WAN network. As part of our dynamic Design and Engineering team, you will be at the forefront of driving this critical project. Your expertise in network optimization and security will be instrumental in creating a scalable, reliable, and future-proof infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Migration: Lead the migration of our IP/MPLS network to segment routing and EVPN using Nokia SR/SAR/PSS equipment.
- Performance Optimization: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of QoS to optimize network performance for diverse applications and user needs.
- Security: Ensure the highest level of security for our network infrastructure, adhering to stringent security standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, communicating complex technical concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and trends, driving innovation within the organization.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven expertise in migrating IP/MPLS networks to segment routing and EVPN, with a strong focus on Nokia SR/SAR/PSS equipment.
- Deep understanding of QoS mechanisms and their application in optimizing network performance.
- Possess or be willing to obtain a security clearance at the national/EU confidential level.
- Strong working knowledge of Cisco SD Access and Aruba SD branch is a significant advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
