Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled Java Software Engineers for one of our key customers requirements. As part of our clients team, you’ll be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining robust microservices-based solutions, utilizing advanced tools and frameworks. This position offers a hybrid working model with a combination of on-site and remote work in Slovakia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain microservices using Java and related frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
- Ensure high code quality and adhere to CI/CD best practices.
- Actively participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications:
- Java Frameworks: Proficiency in Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Build Tools: Experience with either Maven or Gradle.
- Version Control: Proficiency in GitLab.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- CI/CD: Strong understanding and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Slovak or Czech.
Optional Skills (Advantageous):
- API Development: Familiarity with REST and Swagger.
- Messaging: Exposure to Apache Kafka.
- Database: Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
