Job Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems, as well as experience in Schemas Architecture, Proof of Concept (POC) development, and VMware virtualization.
Responsibilities:
• Infrastructure Design: Develop and document infrastructure architectures, including detailed design specifications, topology diagrams, and configuration guidelines.
• Schema Architecture: Design and implement schemas for data modeling and integration, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
• POC Development: Lead the development of Proof of Concept (POC) solutions to evaluate new technologies and methodologies.
• VMware Expertise: Design, implement, and manage VMware virtual environments, including vSphere, vSAN, and NSX.
• Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities for infrastructure improvements.
• Capacity Planning: Assess infrastructure capacity and performance, and plan for future growth.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation, including procedures, diagrams, and configurations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, such as development, operations, and security, to ensure infrastructure alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture and design.
• Proven expertise with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with schema design and data modeling.
• Ability to develop and implement Proof of Concept (POC) solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies.
