- We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant to join the ACID project at the B. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in migrating our internal tool for statistical data acquisition and dissemination to the Fusion Metadata Registry, utilizing the SDMX protocol. This project involves not only the migration but also the implementation of the bank's internal referential framework.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in reference data implementation, statistical data systems, and a thorough understanding of the SDMX protocol. They will collaborate closely with our internal teams to ensure a seamless transition and integration of the new tool, enhancing our data management capabilities.
- The candidate will define the scope and the responsibilities between different teams of the FMR tool usage, the scope of the acquisition and dissemination process and the scope of reference data management
Responsibilities:
- Develop a robust IT specification framework for data flows, from acquisition to dissemination and reference data management.
- Collaborate closely with business teams to understand their processes and requirements.
- Collaborate closely with IT teams to understand the information system architecture and their constraints.
- Coach business team members in the effective use of FMR, with an emphasis on clarity and consistency.
- Define the scope of the FMR tool usage, the scope of the acquisition and dissemination process and the scope of reference data management
- Ensure that the specifications produced are understandable and usable by the IT and business teams.
- Ensure that the analyses produced are compatible with Agile methodologies and enable iterative and incremental delivery.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience in reference data management and statistical data systems.
- Strong knowledge of the SDMX protocol and Fusion Metadata Registry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes.
- Mastery of Agile methodologies and ability to integrate them into the specification process.
- In-depth knowledge of data flows, from acquisition to dissemination.
- In-depth knowledge of reference data management.
- Exceptional coaching and communication skills to work effectively with business and IT teams.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear and concise functional/technical specifications.
- Ability to take into account the IT architecture and constraints.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent years of experience).
- 5 years of experience in reference data.
- 2 years of experience in FMR implementation.
- Background in Data and Analytics, statistics and analytical applications is preferred.
- Professional certification in agile methodologies is preferred.
