- You will work as a Cloud Solutions Architect at the Client, where you will help within the Ge Di of Material Resources of the General Staff in Evere (Brussels) to further map the current architecture of the current IT services and to further develop the future architecture.
- You will work with new technologies and concepts to develop solutions for customers with territorial and/or operational needs and systems.
Details:
- Define and articulate the short- and long-term vision for information architecture and cloud governance in light of the growing strategic importance of cloud solutions within the organization. The management of Cloud solution includes scalable, reliable and secure solutions that are in line with the various guidelines.
- Assess and select suitable Cloud vendors and services that meet the needs of the organization
- Plan and manage Cloud migrations of IT architecture within our existing infrastructures in accordance with company standards and guidelines, taking into account security principles and new guidelines.
- Finding the right balance in how Cloud governance and information architecture are implemented for small and large data projects (i.e., level of automation, level of detail, coverage, long-term vs. short-term focus, cost).
- Contribute to service development or improvement projects initiated by other departments to ensure architectural support, requirements collection and breakdown, compliance, and consistency.
- Ensure the documentation of the architectural landscape within your area of responsibility.
- Working closely with our other architects to ensure that the underlying architecture, infrastructure services, and engineering decisions meet application needs and SLAs.
- Collaborate with our partners and external IT suppliers.
